Most of the intending FUTO students has been calling, asking and seeking the answer to that question.
Now let me brief you guys on what this years admission process looks like……
On the 17th of August, 2017, the Federal Government of Nigeria lifted the ban on POST-UTME @ tertiary institutions. This was made known to by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu in Abuja.
According to him, all tertiary institutions in Nigeria, (including, universities, polytechnics and other institutions) are free to organise POST-UTME screening as a precondition to gaining admission into public institutions (this means that the mode of admission now depends on the unanimous decision of the management of your preferred University).
The Minister added that why the FG initially scrapped the idea of Aptitude Test in Tertiary Institutions is for FG to understand how operations were been carried out in tertiary institutions. He however urged institutions and its authorities to make the fees for the POST-UTME screening affordable in order not to impose huge financial burdens on parents.
FUTO ASPIRANTS ARE THEREFORE ADVICED TO STUDY & PREPARE HARD FOR POST-UTME & ALSO FOR THE NORMAL ADMISSION SCREENING PROCESS AS THEY DON’T KNOW WHICH PROCEDURE THE FUTO MANAGEMENT WOULD USE TO ADMIT THEM……..GOODLUCK!!
